"A very good event, so many activites for the kids to try out".

Shiners FC, one of Access Sport's Tower Hamlets based football clubs, has triumphed in Barcelona whilst taking part in a European tour, with their accolades having been told in the publications East End Life and The Epping Guardian (please see the links below).

South American outfits such as Santos and Independiente took part in the tournament, boasting back-room staff of 20 plus, compared to that of Shiners, having just Alf Fajardo the team coach. A really great effort from the small club in Wapping!
Alf maintains that, despite the great result, it is still not about the results, but getting the kids involved in a club that teaches respect and gets them on the straight and narrow.
