‘I want to say thanks for making me a good player, helping me go to school and out of trouble...

Richard Dunwoody and Gladiator, Oblivion, start the race and the Access Sport All Star Team ready for action
On the 27th August 2010 the Enduro triathlon event was launched, with Access Sport being represented by the All Star team.
The Enduro Challenge is a relay triathlon event that is very much for the brave. It starts with a 90 mile run from London to Dover, then a 25 mile Channel swim to Calais (with no wetsuits) and concludes with a 180 mile bike ride to the Eiffel Tower. Each leg is done in a relay, taking on 5 other teams to get to Paris first.
The team of Paul Annegarn, Simona Casella, Christophe Duval-Kieffer, Julien Leonard, Adrian Carr and Michael Guard aimed to raise £12,000 for Access Sport for this event. Thank you for your support guys!
There were a number of big names, including Barclays Capital, UBS, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse, supporting their teams and various charities. Access Sport and the All Star team were spurred on by Alf Fajardo, club leader for Shiners FC (one of the clubs Access Sport supports), who spoke passionately about the charity and the difference fundraising events like the Enduro really can make to disadvantaged communities.
