A day out at the races for BMX Legacy clubs
Sunday 21 January 2012 saw the GoRide BMX race series reach new heights. Hosted by BADBMX this day at the races was the first time out for many racers.

Free Basketball Coaching Courses in East London
Newham Youngbloods, one of our partner clubs in East London, are looking for volunteers to help coaches run their basketball training sessions and matches, and are hosting free training courses over the February half term to train new volunteers.

Access Sport selected to run SportMATE
Access Sport have been selected by Pro Active East London to run SportMATE, an innovative project to get more disabled young people playing sport. The project was piloted successfully in North London by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation using funding from Capital FM’s Help a London Child fund.
BMX Legacy Project boosted by new track funding!
Access Sport is delighted to announce that funding has been secured for a new track in Tower Hamlets and the renovation of the BMX track in Waltham Forest that are central to the BMX Legacy project.

Newham and Essex Beagles Disability Athletic Club
Newham and Essex Beagles Disability Athletic Club held their fourth session on Tuesday as part of our Disability Legacy Project. The club is hosted by Brampton Manor Academy and is open to all secondary school aged pupils in the London Borough of Newham.
Forest Flyerz off to a Flying Start
After the hugely successful coaching disability hockey training that was put on for volunteers of Forest Flyerz hockey club, the club started their regular weekly sessions last Tuesday.
Four new members were welcomed into Walthamstow Academy, and they were taught skills such as dribbling in a straight line, stopping the ball, turning whilst dribbling and shooting.
Malaika Youth Project Trained to deliver GCSE Equivalent in Boxing
Last week Access Sport teamed up with the Malaika Youth Project – one of the charity’s partner clubs – for an ASDAN training day in Tamworth. Tamworth Amateur Boxing Club is one of the ABAE’s most pro-active clubs and has had great success delivering GCSE boxing in schools where students have either been excluded or are struggling with mainstream education.
