About the event

During the event you will stay at the luxurious Old Thorn Golf Manor in Liphook and enjoy three days cycling in the English countryside covering stunning routes across Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex.  The event is a great chance to create new contacts among like-minded people who all share an interest for cycling. To date there has been commitment from EY, Goldman Sachs, Old Mutual, Nedbank, Opensymmetry, Turnfit to name just a few.

Each day includes a 120km route with different competitive elements, such as closed race sections, hill climbs and time trials and the
opportunity for your team of 4 to challenge the other riders including sporting celebrities. You will also have the opportunity to chat to professional coaches who will be present during the event and get tips on how to improve your performance.

Spend the evenings with celebrities

As well as participating in the Cycle Challenge, well known celebrities will be talking about their experiences of a career as a top athlete. Last year celebrities such as David Millar, Joe Stransky, and Paul Wallace, were present during the event. On the final night a Sports Dinner with an auction raising money for the two chosen charities, LumoHawk (patron Joel Stransky) and Access Sport (ambassador Sir Chris Hoy), will be held. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the work of Access Sport, giving sporting and educational opportunities to children and young people who do not have the funds or the emotional support otherwise.
