Hazel is a Club Development Officer for the Ignite Programme, working to developing inclusive, volunteer led clubs that support and improve health, employment and social prospects for young disabled people.

Currently, Hazel is a third year placement student studying for a BSc (Hons) Sport Development and Coaching Sciences degree at Bournemouth University. She keeps busy working on a youth council for the Lawn Tennis Association, as a Team Leader for the Youth Sports Trust and within a committee made up of ex-Olympians, which focuses on keeping Olympic alumni active within the national sport framework.

Hazel has an interest in working with under-represented groups, and particularly in how sport can be used as a tool for their personal development, empowerment and growth.

In her spare time, Hazel enjoys playing different sports, seeing friends and family and returning to Bournemouth to visit university friends.
