BMXercise is a female specific cycling initiative created by Access Sport as part of their BMX Legacy Programme. Since the first session in 2015, BMXercise has grown considerably and courses have been run at 7 different BMXercise clubs in London - Peckham, Brixton, Merton, Croydon, Hammersmith, Greenwich and Sutcliffe. Plus BMXercise events at the Olympic track in Stratford. BMXercise has now also been adopted by Braintree BMX, home of Women’s Junior BMX World Champion, Bethany Shriever.

BMXercise is a cycling fitness program based around track training which offers a fun and exciting way for women to improve on their fitness while improving core strength. The program does this through developing basic BMX skills and techniques both on and off a BMX track. The sessions are led by a Level 2 BMX and have a fun and friendly atmosphere. The sessions are very welcoming of beginners, plus those of all levels of fitness, and all equipment is provided as part of the cost to enable everyone to take part.

Not sure why I left it until 50 to try BMX. LOVED IT!

These sessions have been fantastic. Along with the coaches and other ladies who attend. I have definitely become more confident

I learned something new and was introduced to a sport I would never have tried otherwise
