Make a difference with our Making Trax Programme

Our Making Trax programme is expanding, and we are currently looking for enthusiastic coaches to join our network to help deliver our unique outreach programme to local schools and community groups located near our facilities.

Access Sport’s Making Trax Programme is a cycling inclusion programme that aims to increase cycling opportunities for young people across the country, with a key focus on London, Bristol, Greater Manchester, and Sheffield.

Practical information about coaching within our Outreach Programme:

  • Coaches must hold a Level 2 Cycling Coach qualification
  • The programme works with school groups over a 10–12-week block of sessions at one of our local cycling facilities
  • The next block of outreach sessions will begin between February - April 2022
  • Sessions are each 1 hour long and we cater for 10-15 participants per group.
  • All equipment is provided onsite at the tracks, including bikes, helmets, and pads
  • Access Sport are responsible for contacting and liaising directly with the local schools to book in sessions, so coaches are paid solely for session planning and delivery

Inspire a more diverse future generation of cyclists
