Challenge Date: 27/28 June 2020

WHAT IS THE COTSWOLD WAY ULTRA CHALLENGE?

The magical Cotswold Way provides a stunning setting for a testing challenge - with some fantastic views en route and tough hills in between! It's a Saturday morning start from historic Bath's Royal Crescent, as 2000 adventurers set out on 100km of footpaths & trails - most walking but many jogging and running.

Whether you're a keen walker and new to endurance events, or a seasoned hiker up for a new adventure - with half and quarter distance options also - there's a Challenge here for everyone. You'll get full support & hospitality all the way to your finish line - where an amazing sense of achievement & celebration awaits.

This event is suitable for participants of all abilities, with three distances to choose from:

  • 100km Full Challenge, continuous with rest stops
  • 100km Full Daylight Challenge, 2 days with camp option
  • 50km 1st Half Challenge
  • 50km 2nd Half Challenge
  • 25km 1st Quarter Challenge

WHAT DO ACCESS SPORT DO?

Access Sport believe all young people should be able to experience the power of sport. However over the past few years the number of people on low incomes participating in sport has fallen nearly 50,000, causing a third of UK children being classified as obese or overweight, side-lining the poor and vulnerable. Your support fundraising and participating in the Cotswold Way Challenge makes a real difference in creating a level playing field, giving under-represented young people regardless of ability, gender, background or ethnicity, the chance to enhance their life prospects through sport.
