Tanya is a Development Manager for our Changing Sports Programme, focusing on multi-sport disability inclusion. Her role involves supporting the creation and growth of inclusive sport activities for disabled young people and their families. She will work to develop and sustain community sport clubs and groups, enhancing their ability to engage more disadvantaged and disabled children and young people.

Tanya previously worked at Badminton England, where she led the Commonwealth Games Legacy Project concentrated on increasing participation among adults from ethnically diverse communities and underserved backgrounds, especially targeting women and girls.  Having been involved in sports her entire life, Tanya played professional badminton and still enjoys playing socially. Over the past year and a half, she has also contributed as an Assistant Coach for the Wiltshire Junior County Badminton Association. Tanya has completed her MSc in Sport & Exercise Psychology. She is also a certified Yoga Teacher and Basic NLP Practitioner and is currently working towards completing her Level 2 Badminton Coaching Certification.  Tanya firmly believes that sports should be accessible and welcoming to everyone. She is enthusiastic about making a positive impact on young disabled children through her efforts.

In her free time, Tanya is fond of traveling and exploring new cuisines. She also values spending quality time with her family and friends and enjoys staying active through various sports.
