As you may have already seen, the Stockwood Bike Park has recently seen a transformation with the redevelopment of a unique and exciting all-tarmac jump and pump track. We want to bring together individuals, groups, organisations, and anyone else who is interested in making this off-road facility a success for the whole community. The Stockwood Bike Park will be fully functional by January 2022, it will become a brilliant resource for the local community, creating a safe and exciting place to learn to ride, increase cycling confidence and enhance bike handling skills. Through this group of interested local people and organisations, we want to ensure that Stockwood Bike Park becomes a thriving community cycling hub by activating the facility for both recreational and structured activity, so the benefits of the track can be accessed by all. In order to make Stockwood Bike Park a community hub that excels, we have created a Facilitator course for anyone wanting to become a volunteer or coach. It is designed to help you become confident in opening the container and getting the community active on the track.
