Former professional triathlete and recognised artist Vanessa Raw is auctioning a portrait of Marilyn Monroe with proceeds coming to Access Sport.

Vanessa has been an ambassador for Access Sport for 7 years and she is passionate about the charity’s work ensuring that everyone, regardless of ability or background, can take part in sport and physical activity.  She says...

Access sport allows disadvantaged kids to have access to sports that they wouldn't have normally have. The sense of belonging and purpose is massive. It helped me realise the impact that sport can have on the trajectory of many young lives. Hopefully, the painting can help raise some money for these kids especially during this hard time.

This September, Vanessa is auctioning her portrait of Marilyn Monroe ‘The Scars that Bind Us’ to raise money for Access Sport.

(Image dimensions 90 x 120cm, oil on linen)

Painted ‘in the moment’, the piece showcases how we are all connected through shared experience and emotion, a concept which Vanessa is passionate about and is a recurring theme across her collections

Vanessa's stunning portrait, ‘The Scars that Bind Us’ will be available to bid on from Tues 15th – Tues 29th September here.
