Friday 30 April – Monday 3 May

Last year Captain Tom Moore inspired the nation by walking 100 laps of his garden and raising £39m for the NHS Covid-19 appeal. One year later, to recognise what would have been his 101st birthday on Friday 30 April, Captain Tom's family and the Captain Tom Foundation are urging as many people as possible to take on a 100 challenge of their own to raise money for charity.

Your challenge can be 100 of anything - from 100 miles to 100 steps, 100 keepie-ups, push ups, bounces or any other physical activity. Or what about 100 minutes of silence? Dancing for 100 minutes? Baking 100 cakes? Anything you do will help us create one more opportunity this summer for a disadvantaged young person to play sport.

It’s easy to take part:

  1. Choose your 100 challenge to take on anytime over Captain Tom's birthday weekend (Friday 30 April – Monday 3 May)

  2. Set up your fundraising page on Just Giving and ask your friends and family to support you

  3. Share online using #CaptainTom100 and don’t forget to tag us as well #AccessSportCaptainTom
