What is Try-Day Friday?

To celebrate the #BeInclusive theme of The Great British Week of Sport, Access Sport are hosting 'Try-Day Friday' packed full of your favourite sports and activities!

It is open to all, regardless of experience, and participants, families, and household bubbles are welcome to participate together.

 

  

Details:

  • When: Friday 25th September, 4.00pm - 8.30pm 
  • Where: Zoom - participants must register in advance - please sign up by clicking the button above or by clicking HERE.
  • All activities will be led by experienced coaches and instructors who will provide options for all abilities and experience levels! 
  • Five fantastic inclusive sessions including Yoga, Hockey, Fitness, Boccia and Self-Defence!
  • You can also win medals depending on how many sessions you attend! Bronze = 1 session, Silver = 2/3 sessions and Gold = 4/5 sessions!

Lunchbox Learning - Disability Inclusion Training

In addition to the sporting and activity sessions which we have planned, we will also be hosting a FREE 30-minute Lunchbox Learning session for volunteers and coaches who wish to know more about inclusive sporting practice, where we will be running a cut-down version of our YMCA-accredited Disability Inclusion Training from 1.00pm - 1.45pm on Friday 25th September.
