Elsie is the Active Environments Development Manager for Access Sport’s Changing Sports programme. She is responsible for delivering new inclusive community sports facilities and enhancing existing ones, focusing mainly on cycling facilities and basketball courts.

Elsie is passionate about transforming the aspirations of clients and stakeholders into attractive, sustainable, and functional schemes and has over 20 years of experience delivering community facilities. Elsie started her career as a landscape architect at Groundwork, before moving on to work in private practice where she has worked on schemes such as the 3G pitches and park at Mabley Green in Hackney, the Hackney Marshes Cricket Pavilion, and improvements to the Brixton BMX track.

Elsie spends her spare time looking after a small area of woodland in the New Forest and volunteers for biodiversity projects in her local area.
