Access Sport's cycling programme Making Trax is putting on free events around the country to celebrate the UCI Road Cycling Championships coming to the UK this September. We will be partnering with community cycling clubs across three cities to all host open days welcoming everyone to their track on the 21st of September. We're hoping the Road World Championships will inspire more people to get cycling and these local events will provide a great opportunity for people to give it a go.

All the open days listed below are free and open to all ages and abilities. We're really encouraging people who have never tried cycling/BMXing before to come along and give it a go. All equipment will be provided so all you need to do is turn up!

OPEN DAYS...

Our London event is open to all with something to suit riders of all abilities. A special beginner’s session with expert coaches will welcome any newcomers to the sport and intermediate and expert riders can tighten up their times with training and tips from an elite professional. There will also be a BMXercise session for women, with families and friends welcome to join in.

MEET UCI BMX WORLD CHAMPION TRE WHYTE!

Our London event will be joined by BMX star Tre Whyte who will be demoing and coaching some of the activities. Tre grew up in Peckham and first started BMX-ing at the neighbouring Peckham BMX club.
