Growth Strategy

Too many young people remain unable to access the transformational benefits of community sport.

Access Sport was formed in 2004. We have grown organically over time, working across multiple locations and sports, forming exciting partnerships, establishing a reputation as highly respected leaders in the field of sport for development and delivering real and sustainable change.

Unfortunately too many young people remain unable to access the transformational benefits of community sport. The pandemic and cost of living crisis have served to reinforce existing inequalities.

The benefits of community sport are well documented, but investment in and access to inclusive community sport (local, low cost, safe, accessible, and welcoming to all), remains woefully low.

We want and need to do more.

Stand for Inclusion sets out an ambitious growth strategy for 2022 to 2027, taking our tried and tested offers to new locations and working across more sports, whilst also supporting sector wide change.

It aims to clearly communicate who we are, what we do, why we do it, as well as how we plan to scale up our work to support more disadvantaged and disabled children and young people.

Our ability to deliver on this strategy will be dependent on increased fundraising to support our plans and continuing to build strong partnerships with national and local organisations, corporate partners, supporters, communities, and volunteers.

Whether you want to find out more, donate, fundraise, or partner with us, please get in touch, and join us on this exciting journey. With your help we can make this strategy a reality.
