Environmental Sustainability Access Sport is committed to having a positive impact on the environment; championing constructive environmental, social and economic change; having a positive impact on the lives of our employees and volunteers; and achieving best practice in our charitable governance. As an organisation, we are a supporter of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We recognise we have a role to play in supporting the environmentally-focused SDGs both as an organisation and via the community clubs we work with. Whilst we believe that our Changing Sports and Changing Places work, when delivered hyper-locally, is an inherently sustainable way of delivering inclusive opportunities for children and young people, we recognise that there is more that we can do today to reduce our impact on the environment. Our work in this area is guided by the British Association of Sustainability in Sport (BASIS ) principles, outlined here. We are an affiliate member of BASIS.
