Popcorn comes on board as Pro Bono PR Partner to help level the playing field in community sport.

Since the start of 2020, award-winning integrated comms agency Popcorn has generously invested its expertise, industry insight and passion for Access Sport into initiatives targeted at driving awareness of the charity’s work. This has included significant case study coverage in both regional and national press.

By sharing and celebrating the stories of our inclusive community clubs and participants, Popcorn actively promotes our mission to make inclusion the norm in community sport. We are proud that our partnership with Popcorn enables us to raise our voice when advocating for inclusion in community sport and highlighting the need for sector-wide change.

Most recently, Popcorn has supported the charity with media outreach on two key social fundraising campaigns, Tri with Access Sport (2021) and #ChallengeAccessSport (2022), helping drive greater awareness and fundraising. Popcorn has also worked closely with our elite sports ambassadors to secure press coverage and has advised on PR around the launch of our new inclusive cycling facilities in Stockwood (Bristol) and Salford (Greater Manchester).

The Popcorn team continues to offer strategic PR advice to the charity, as well as driving awareness through case study coverage, ambassador advocacy, social fundraising and event support, effectively growing both reach and recognition.

We look forward to continuing to work with Popcorn to champion the achievements of our participants, clubs and volunteers and to advocate for fairer, more inclusive opportunities within community sport.
