The virtual Bristol Life Awards took place on 17 September – celebrating the best of Bristol. The event was live streamed on YouTube which can be watched here.

Access Sport entered the Health & Wellbeing category for our continued work in Bristol across our three programmes: Making Trax Programme, Disability Inclusion Programme and Team100 Easton.

Each programme works in partnership and collaboration with other local organisations to improve local community sport and physical activity opportunities, with a particular focus on improving inclusivity and accessibility for disabled and disadvantaged children and young people.

This was a key highlight for the judges who said:

“Its unique collaborative programmes enticed disadvantaged groups to enjoy sport in their local community, with hundreds of Access Sports’ participants and volunteers doing the city proud.”

We would like to thank Bristol Life Awards for the opportunity, CMC Marquees for sponsoring the award, and all the amazing participants, volunteers, partners and clubs who make our work possible.
