At the beginning of March, Tiverton BMX Club held a BMXercise taster session, which has now blossomed into a thriving weekly BMXercise session!

The taster session was held on the 5th March and saw a few local women come along and check it out and try BMX. Following on from this, they have launched weekly sessions, which have grown in popularity with a group of approximately 10 riders attending on various weeks. It’s great to see the sessions going from strength to strength and we can’t wait to see how the sessions progress next. This is all thanks, to local coach Paula, who is passionate about getting more people into cycling! What is BMXercise all about?

BMXercise is fun, friendly and fitness-based BMXing for women. The sessions typically run at a BMX track and participants can use this fun activity to keep fit, whilst gaining some new BMX skills along the way. The friendly and supportive atmosphere created in a BMXercise session sets them apart from normal BMX club sessions.
