Both local and national trusts and foundations provide a huge amount of support to us. Collaboration with these organisations has been key to our success over the last 20 years, ensuring young people receive the many life-changing benefits that taking part in community sport can bring.
Currently, trusts and foundations make up a large proportion of our yearly income and as we continue to grow to meet needs, we are always looking to work with more.

The John James Bristol Foundation have been a key supporter of our work since 2018, providing over £90,000 towards building and maintaining cycle tracks and cycle equipment at Hillfields, Stockwood and Lawrence Western sites. Most recently they are supporting our outreach work in Bristol to empowering 1,000 disadvantaged young people through the life skill of cycling, which has been shown to have many positive effects on improving health and wellbeing and building skills for life such as confide Read more
In 2022, the London Marathon Foundation invested £1.37m into our cycling and basketball work. This builds on a previous partnership between the London Marathon Foundation which saw more than £900,000 invested between 2018 and 2022. By working collaboratively, we have supported more young people than ever before, ensuring they can enjoy the life-changing benefits of inclusive community sport. Read more
Alongside multi-year of support for our Changing Places work in London (£30,000 over 3 years) enabling more disabled and or disadvantaged young people to take part in community sport, the Hollick Family Foundation have kindly extended their support to develop a new tool to monitor and evaluate disabled young people’s wellbeing. The tool has been co-created with a youth researcher panel with lived experience of disability. We have run an initial pilot study and aim to launch the tool in summer. Read more
The extremely generous support of £170,000 from The Ernest Hecht Charitable Foundation enabled us to start building an all-wheel track in Cadishead, Manchester. This new track will provide opportunities for young people to learn to ride a bike, improve their skills on BMX and have lots of fun! Read more
Support from the Albert Gubay Foundation has been instrumental to our success in Manchester for the past 10 years. More recently their support has enabled us to develop our Young Leaders Academy which supports underserved young people to become the community sport leaders of tomorrow. Many young people who have been through our Young Leaders programme have already gone on to volunteer in their local community sports clubs, ensuring their sustainability for the future. Read more
