Clearwater has partnered with Access Sport to help increase access to sporting opportunities for disabled and disadvantaged young people, ensuring sport is inclusive, safe and welcoming for all.

Inclusion is at the heart of our partnership, driving our shared commitment to tackle the access barriers faced by young people.

Clearwater employees regularly volunteer at our events nationwide, contributing over 100 hours of voluntary support in the past 12 months.

In 2025, Clearwater also committed £73,000 in funding to support the growth of Climbz – our inclusive climbing programme.

We have worked with climbing and bouldering venues since 2019 to make the sport more inclusive for disabled young people. Through our Changing Sports climbing programme, we provide hands-on support so venues can launch new pan-disability inclusive sessions, where they previously didn’t exist.

With Clearwater’s additional support, we will expand Climbz into more locations, train more coaches in inclusive delivery, and support more community groups to offer climbing sessions tailored to local need. The funding will also help embed inclusive practices within climbing centres, ensuring long-term sustainability.
