“It's a fantastic course that will help coaches, officials and other volunteers in the game to feel more confident and to increase the accessibility of their  offer" ECB National Disability Cricket Manager

Our Disability Inclusion Learning sessions are designed to increase your confidence, knowledge and ability to create an inclusive sporting environment for all abilities.

We explore the importance of disability inclusion through a community sport lens, covering both disability-focused delivery and being inclusive of disabled people in your existing sport sessions.

Disability Inclusion Learning covers:

  • Barriers and challenges for disabled people in accessing traditionally provided sport and physical activity
  • Various disabilities, impairment groups and long-term health conditions through lived experiences – including physical disabilities, learning disabilities and difficulties, visual impairments, hearing impairments and other non-visible impairments
  • Applying this learning in your sport setting.

We run this learning as part of our Club Development offer to clubs we work with, as well as Open Sessions and custom programmes in partnership with sport and community organisations, National Governing Bodies, leisure centres and more.

Our delivery is flexible depending on the need and can include:

  • In-person or virtual
  • Bitesize learning sessions – one hour
  • Workshops – two hours
  • Half-day training – three hours
  • Bespoke delivery for your organisation, club or network.

Get in contact to see how we could support your workplace, network or organisation to put inclusion at the core of your community sport offer.
