"If you are seeking a team of professionals with exceptional research capabilities, I wholeheartedly recommend Access Sport." Head of Participation and Development at British Equestrian

The Access Sport team is experienced in undertaking strategic reviews of existing grassroots sports projects and developing options appraisals, for a wide range of organisations.

We do this with our sector partners, including national governing bodies, as well as supporting other public, private and third-sector organisations on an advisory or consultancy basis.

Our team for this work includes experienced Project Managers and multiple inclusion specialists.

Riding for the Disabled Association

In late 2022, we were commissioned by British Equestrian to undertake a review of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Accessibility Mark (AM) scheme.

A decade after the scheme’s launch the review aimed to shape its future development and inform how more of Britain’s estimated 1750 riding centres can be encouraged and supported to deliver disability-inclusive activity.

The project involved extensive desk research, stakeholder interviews as well as online and telephone surveys. Ultimately, this led us to identify three options for the ongoing development of the scheme, as well as wider recommendations to support disability-inclusive practice across the equestrian sector.

Mandana Mehran Pour, Head of Participation and Development at British Equestrian, said:

“If you are seeking a team of professionals with exceptional research capabilities, I wholeheartedly recommend Access Sport. Their reliability and proficiency in project management also far surpassed our expectations, and we eagerly anticipate future collaborations with them”.
