Ellie Cakebread

Ellie is one of our placement students, currently working as a Community Development Officer in our London office. She is studying for a BSc in Sport Science, Coaching, and Physical Education at Loughborough University.

Before joining Access Sport Ellie gained experience working with a diverse range of athletes as a volunteer hockey and swimming coach. She further enhanced her skillset completing a combined Level One and Two Swimming Teacher qualification. During her placement, Ellie is looking forward to contributing towards the development of accessible and inclusive sporting environments, helping to ensure that benefit of sport is shared by all.

In her spare time, Ellie enjoys watching and playing a variety of sports, with swimming and hockey being firm favourites! When not involved in sport, she also enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family.
