Leanne Brown Leanne is the Inclusive Training Lead at Access Sport, responsible for leading the charity’s inclusive training and learning offer across its programmes. She provides strategic leadership for the design, delivery and growth of training that equips coaches, volunteers and community organisations with the skills and confidence to create inclusive sport environments. Leanne has over 10 years’ equality, diversity and inclusion experience across national governing bodies. She has led national strategies and disability programmes, embedding inclusive practice and strengthening governance to improve access for communities. She has also built workforce capability through education, partnerships and her work as a tutor and assessor, enabling more inclusive delivery locally. Leanne has volunteered at major events, including the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Alongside this, she is an Independent EDI Board Director for Badminton Cymru, Wales providing strategic leadership and championing inclusion. Outside of work, Leanne enjoys staying active through the gym, climbing mountains, and paddleboarding. Having grown up playing badminton competitively, she continues to have a strong passion for sport and loves exploring new places across the world.
