Marianna Lordou Marianna is a Community Coordinator within the Changing Places London team. She previously spent a year with Access Sport as a placement student and recently returned after completing her BSc in Sports Science, Coaching and Physical Education at Loughborough University. Marianna supports the Changing Places London project to engage communities, strengthen partnerships and help create inclusive opportunities for disabled people across The Capital. With a background in grassroots sport, Marianna has volunteered with a range of community clubs, mainly in football, where she gained experience in both coaching and programme planning. She has also worked with people with disabilities and mental health challenges, using sport as a tool to improve resilience, inclusion and wellbeing. These experiences have strengthened her passion for ensuring that physical activity is accessible to everyone, regardless of background or ability. In her spare time, Marianna enjoys playing and watching football, reading books, volunteering at a dog shelter, and spending time with animals.
