Mya joins the Access Sport team as a Community Development Officer as part of her placement year. She is currently studying for a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science at Brunel University London.

Mya brings with her valuable experience from previous voluntary work as a youth leader, where she mentored and supported young people and helped deliver community events. Passionate about the power of sport, she is eager to get involved in more projects through the charity and witness first-hand the positive impact that physical activity can have on individuals, families, and the wider community.

Outside of work, Mya enjoys playing and watching netball, as well as keeping up with football. She loves spending quality time with her family and friends and exploring the outdoors and new places.

Mya is excited to gain hands-on experience, meet new people and contribute to making community sport more inclusive through her work with Access Sport.
