Sophie Humphries

Sophie is the Senior Development Manager for Changing Places, Birmingham. She is responsible for expanding our reach to more community clubs and young people in Birmingham and building strategic relationships in the city.

Sophie has extensive experience across Arts, Culture and Sport in the Midlands, specialising in access and inclusion, across mega-events, festivals and mass-participation projects with people of all ages and backgrounds. A highlight of her career was as the Producer for a mass-scale inclusive dance project as part of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, challenging perceptions of disability and genuine inclusion in mega sport and cultural events.

In her spare time, Sophie likes to stay active and with a mixture of dance classes, Zumba, Yoga, Padel, the gym and running. She also used to be a gymnastics coach.
