Access Sport’s Young Leaders Academy is made up of young people who have completed our Young Leaders Course.

This next step in the journey is an opportunity for these young leaders to test the skills they have gained in club and community settings.

Supported by our team and club volunteers, participants learn coaching and leadership skills as they take up vital roles in their local community sport club.

Benefits of the programme include:

• Connection to local community sport club
• In-person/online training opportunities
• Young Leaders Networking Events
• Funding support (up to £150) for formal sports coaching qualifications
• Opportunities to join our National Youth Board and regional Youth Voice Groups.
