Help us enhance our culture and create a welcoming environment for all

We are seeking proposals from external organisations or consultants to conduct an EDI internal assessment.

This assessment will help guide our commitment to fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment, where our staff, trustees, volunteers and committee members experience a strong sense of belonging and a diverse and innovative culture.

Our mission is to ensure that no one is excluded from the transformational benefits of community sport. With the launch of our growth strategy Stand for Inclusion in 2022, we have expanded our reach to impact over 20,000 disadvantaged and disabled young people across the UK. Internally, our team has doubled in size in less than two years, and we’re proud to have 51 staff members.

As we continue to grow our team and reach, we are dedicated to embedding a robust EDI framework throughout our organisation. We want to enhance our internal culture, ensuring that our diversity continues to be a source of strength.

This assessment will evaluate our current practices and shape a workplace culture that aligns with our vision and values.

Assessment purpose: To evaluate our current EDI practices, uncover areas for improvement, and offer actionable recommendations for enhancing inclusivity across all levels. We expect this to inform our new EDI strategy and action plan, which will be developed and launched in 2025.

Methods: We expect the research methods to take a mixed-methods approach, which may include a survey, interviews, and/or focus groups, as well as a review of relevant internal documentation.

Deadline: 6 December, 2024
