Access Sport’s National Youth Board is excited to launch the Active Changemakers project – a storytelling initiative, aiming to shine a light on the incredible people driving inclusive community sport.

The project brings together a collection of authentic stories, told through a series of powerful interviews, each capturing the belief that sport is for everyone, and everyone has a part in shaping it.

At its heart, the Active Changemakers project was created to:

  • Highlight the impact of community sport by demonstrating the power of inclusive clubs, supportive coaches and welcoming environments
  • Celebrate the everyday heroes driving change, from coaches to participants, each person plays a part in strengthening community sport
  • Inspire underrepresented young people to volunteer or work at their local community sport club.

The series explores the themes of journey, belonging and impact, offering a window into what inclusive sport means for both individuals and communities.
