Engage will bring the life-changing benefits of cycling to 500 children in the poorest areas of Glasgow

We are looking for a partner to launch Engage – a project to ensure that 500 children from the poorest areas of Glasgow can access a community cycling club, transforming their lives for the better.

By supporting this project, you will allow us to expand our work into a new city and use cycling as a vehicle of empowerment for young people

Through Engage, we will support a network of cycling clubs to become more inclusive for disadvantaged young people, as well as deliver outreach to local schools and community groups.

With your support, we will allow local people to create thriving community cycling hubs that can act as lifelines for hundreds of families.

With just over 185,000 Glaswegians residing in the most deprived 10% of areas in Scotland, the need for somewhere local, safe and exciting to enjoy riding has never been clearer1. Through inclusive cycling clubs, we can radically improve underserved young people’s lives through the social, emotional and physical benefits of this life-changing sport.

Unlike other parts of the country, Engage is expanding our work to a city we have never worked in before. Your generosity will allow us to start a new project completely from scratch. You will be instrumental in building momentum around inclusive cycling in this iconic city. Come on board and help us create a tangible, life-changing impact.
